We are very excited to have added this Troubadour bred heifer to our herd. She comes from Collins Cattle ,OK thru the Western Elite sale at the NWSS. It was every bit as easy to get our purchases home as Dr. Dave  Duello said it would be.

We are so excited about this young Star! When we heard about this prospect and his royal pedigree I knew I had to go see him.  The popularity of Irish Whiskey is off the charts and he is out of one of the best show heifers I have ever seen.  We saw him unclipped and loose in the pen and still he was everything I was looking for in a herd sire. He was so hairy and so great structured. His hip and hind leg in my opinion, is as good as you can make one. His neck extension and cocky look around the pen, let me know he thought he was good to. We knew he had to be TH free by pedigree but just assumed that there was no way he could be PHA free because it would be to good to be true. So we bought half of him with out leaving the pen.  The genetic sample was sent in and it came back FREE for both TH and PHA and homo black. YES PHA FREE!

Had a good showing at the Pennsylvania State Farm Show today. An April born Predator x Dream On won the Maintainer division. She is owned by Bill Work Cattle Company and Chris Jordan. She was raised by Winslow Farms. Just wanted to share how pleased we have been with the success of Holtkamp raised bulls. Thanks again.
