People lining up for Predator Semen

Just a little bait and switch. Actually Dacota took this picture of the line he was in, at the entrance to the College World Series last night.
"What a beautiful looking facility! Playing at Rosenblatt was definitely a highlight of my life. 1990 seems like a long time ago !!! Where has the time gone? " Comments by Pat Wolfe who played for my Oklahoma State Cowboys and cattle breeder using Predator. (check out earlier posts)

Predator heifer wins Futurity at National jr Maine show.

Congratulation to Jon Heaton on his Grand Champion female at the She's A Lady Futurity at the National jr show today. Go Predator.

Immortal Market heifer getting ready for show.

Blaine Rodgers sent this picture of this Immortal heifer getting ready to show. Good luck she looks amazing. Also I have had several other reports of the Immortals making good cows. Think about it if females like this one could efficiently make show cattle.

WOW win 10 straws at the National Chi Jr show.

Win 10 straws of Walks On Water at the National national jr Chi show in the semen tank raffle. This benefits the jr association. Glad to be part of a jr association program.

Judging at the Iowa Angus field day

Sunday I had the chance to judge the open show at the Iowa Angus field day. It was a great experience to be able to judge at the event that I grew up showing at. You have to keep in mind that I started out at the bottom of the class (my first Angus show) and worked my way up.
The cattle at the show were good really good.

Fitting clinic, one on one style.

Last Friday we had an informal fitting clinic at our show barn for the Selway and Kemper kids. We started with daily hair care to a few show day instructions and showmanship. I liked the format of questions from them led the way thru the process. Anybody following our program that would like to do this let me know.

Great place to eat and Happy Fathers day!

While going to judge the Iowa Angus field day open show we stopped and ate at the Black Market Pizza restaurant in Ames. This place was featured in the Man vs Food show on the Travel channel. The pizza was excellent and the owner came over and we got talking about his story about going from homeless and laid off to business owner. He confirmed that Adam on Man vs Food is as cool in person as on the show. As Bob May said in his Showtimes magazine article "If your lucky enough to be born in America you are lucky enough."

Motivation to keep working that hair until summer.

One of my favorite pictures. Hard work does pay big dividends. Like many kids out there rinsing and brushing this time of year takes effort and dedication. All the hours of work for the chance at glory. Well worth it no matter what the outcome because it builds character.

Trust Predator

Skyler and Dacota took this picture of a poster they came across.
Predator trusts himself to make money. JK  they liked it.
